Check out the minutes from our April 24th Meeting.
Our final PTG General Meeting will be May 23rd. During this meeting, we will review what we've done this year, vote on a budget for next year, and elect two treasurers to the executive board. We have FREE CHILDCARE to make it easier for parents to attend.
PTG Recruitment- The PTG is recruiting for the next year. We currently have both Treasurer positions open for the 2019-2020 school year and will hold an election at our May 23rd meeting. If being on the executive board seems like too much, there are all kinds of ways to contribute to our community. Check out all the roles needed to make the work of the PTG happen in the McGlynn PTG Volunteer Positions 2019-2020 descriptions. If you have a few extra hours a month and want help us bring enrichment and community to the McGlynn Elementary School, please contact Bailey Schendell (firstname.lastname@example.org).
End of the Year Dates- With the last day of school set for June 13th, the dates for end of the year activities keep shifting. We are continuously updating our McGlynn PTG 2018-2019 Schedule. You can check it out online via the link above or on our bulletin board in the PTG Room at the school. If you use Google Calendar, you can subscribe to the McGlynn Elementary Google PTG Calendar.
Volunteer Opportunities- Come help make all the end of the year activities happen!
Teacher Appreciation Week- This week is Teacher Appreciation Week and we have big plans for letting our teachers and staff know how much we appreciate all the hard work they do with our students and for our McGlynn Community. Letters went home last week with our plans and outlining ways community members can help contribute. If you are interested in helping out but haven't got a chance to let us know it's not to late! Please reach out to Bailey Schendell (email@example.com).
Ice Cream Social (Thursday, May 16th)- Volunteers are needed for planning this event as well as covering activity stations during the event.
Fun Day (Friday, June 7th)- Volunteers will be running activity stations such as obstacle courses, dunk tank, balloon toss, or handing out slush.
