Community Engagement

School Committee Presentation- Each year, organizations that support our schools are required to present on their activities to the School Committee. Last Monday, May 20th, the city PTO/PTGs presented together on our work as a group and in our individual schools. We each presented our achievements as well as an issue we would like addressed by the School Committee. The McGlynn asked the School Committee to look at the rising cost of school buses for field trips. Other issues that will be raised include ongoing building maintenance issues, need for additional technology, and a request for additional librarians. Please let us know if you have other concerns that you would like raised. Our presentation and achievements this year were praised by School Committee Members, the Mayor and the Superintendent. Take a look at our presentation.
