Next PTG General Meeting is Thursday, January 17th.

Take a look at the minutes from our December 4th Meeting.

Communications

McGlynn Community Rockstar!- The success of the PTG in supporting the McGlynn student community is due to the countless hours of hard work by many volunteers. This week, we want to highlight Vivian Su. She has been an active member of the McGlynn community for years. She is well known all over the school for her efforts with the PTG and as a classroom volunteer. Over the years, she has served on the PTG Executive Board and coordinated various PTG events and fundraisers. Her knowledge of the McGlynn and the PTG has been invaluable for this years all new Executive Board. Just this month, Vivian has baked apple cider doughnuts as a Room Parent with Ms. Notaro's class, coordinated the Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser and the Scrip Fundraiser. She is truly a rockstar. Thank you so much, Vivian!

HELP WANTED - WINTERFEST - The PTG is always recruiting help for various projects. Right now we are looking for a volunteer to coordinate the Winterfest on February 1st. Winterfest is one our Family Fun Nights held at the school. Some suggestions for themes have been a game night or a family talent show. We are open to all ideas. Email execboard@mcglynnptg.org if you are interested in helping out.

HELP WANTED - AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM - The PTG is looking to expand the After School Program, but we need parent volunteers. This Fall we piloted the "Escape the Classroom" Math Club. This Spring we hope to add 2-3 programs, but we need parent volunteers. If you have 2 hours a week during the afternoon for a 6-8 week period, please email execboard@mcglynnptg.org.

Calendar Update- We continuously are updating our McGlynn PTG 2018-2019 Schedule. You can check it out online or on our bulletin board in the PTG Room at the school. If you use Google Calendar you can subscribe to the McGlynn Elementary PTG Calendar.
