Happy Fall!

With the school year well on its way we wanted to remind our community of all we’ve got going on over the next few months.

In September we ran our Annual Membership Drive. This fundraiser gives us a jump start on raising the money we need to provide resources for our students and teachers throughout the year. I am proud to report that we had the highest participation from over the past 4 years! Thank you to everyone who gave generously and made this fundraiser a big success.

Our first PTG meeting of the year will be held virtually Tuesday, October 19 7-9pm. PTG meetings are an opportunity to get together and review the work of the PTG. This meeting will be particularly important because we will be reviewing the finances from last year and voting on a budget for this year. Please join us by following this link. We will post an agenda in the next few days.

We are currently running our Annual Fall Pie Fundraiser. Last week you should have received a form for ordering your Modern Pastry Thanksgiving pies in your students communication folder. We are offering Apple, Blueberry, Ricotta and Pecan pies to be picked up from the school on Wednesday, November 24th. If you missed the form you can download it from here or you can order your pies from our online store. Please make sure to include your name and contact details with online orders.

We still need help with our Fall Fun House! This year's first Family Fun night will be Friday October 29th from 6-8pm behind the school. We will be building a Fall Fun House with rooms decorated for the holidays of the season. Maybe a pumpkin patch? Maybe a mad scientist lab? Who knows what will come from the minds of our Mcglynn community. If you are interested in decorating a room or helping out with the event please use our signup genius form to let us know. We are planning to have a photographer so bring your students in costume. This event is the perfect follow up to the Medford Trick or Treat in the Square (3-5pm in Medford Square).
