Raising funds is one very important way we meet our mission to enhance and support the educational experience at the McGlynn Elementary School. The PTG helps fund enrichment for our students that is not allowed for in the school budget. The money we raise goes towards things like field trips, in-school presentation, and Fun Day. We also provide each student a folder and agenda books for the 4th and 5th grade.

The PTG does three Family Fun Nights at the school each year. In the 2018-19 school year that will include a Family Dance (Oct. 12), a event to be determined (Feb. 1) and the Ice Cream Social (May TBA).

MEMBERSHIP DONATION DRIVE

At start of each school year we send hope a letter requesting membership donations directly from parents. If every parent donated $42 we would be able to meet our goals for the 2018-2019 school year.

PRODUCT FUNDRAISERS

The PTG has a Fall Pie Fundraiser leading up to Thanksgiving. We sell Scrip gift cards in leading up to the holidays and then again in the Spring. This year we are undecided on our third product fundraiser that ususally runs in the Winter.

MUSTANG SPIRIT SHOP

The Mustang Spirit Store provides everything you need to show your McGlynn Mustang Spirit. This year we have created an online store as well as expanded our merchandise. You can also order merchandise by filling out this form and sending in with your child.

READ-A-THON AND BOOK FAIR

Every spring the McGlynn will participate in the city wide Read-A-Thon and host the Scholastic Book Fair.

RESTAURANT NIGHTS

The PTG hosts dining out nights at various local restaurants (Kelly's, Bertucci's, Chipolte). The school gets a percentage of the profits from the night out. It's  a great way to raise money and hang out with your McGlynn Community. 

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

The PTG participates in the Box Tops for education program. We ask families to collect Box Top labels from participating products and send them into school. We submit the labels by November 1st and March  1st of each year. The PTG receives $.10 per label submitted. Check out the Box Tops website for ways to earn even more for our students.

Everyone orders from Amazon!! The PTG asks for your support by selecting the McGlynn Elementary Parent Teacher Group by logging on to www.smile.amazon.com. By doing so Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to the McGlynn PTG which in turn will be used to fund fun and enriching activities for our students.
